Reduce Herbicide Use, Lower Labour Costs & Address Herbicide Resistance
With three generations of farming expertise, the Single family set out to create precise, cost-effective weed control solutions for broadacre farming.
Driven by challenges like herbicide-resistant ryegrass and overcoming Optical Spot Spray Technology (OSST) limitations, we developed the Single Ag WeedMapper to enhance accuracy and efficiency, reduce herbicide use, lower labour costs and address herbicide resistance head-on.
The heart of weed control innovation
For over a decade, John Single and his sons, Tony and Ben, have collaborated with robotics specialists to develop cutting-edge camera sensing technologies tailored to farmers’ unique requirements.
At the heart of our innovation is the Single Ag drone-based weed detection mapper. The Single Ag WeedMapper revolutionises weed management by pinpointing weeds as small as 3 cm at speeds of up to 260 hectares per hour.
Farmers benefit from efficient and targeted herbicide application, minimising herbicide use and reducing the need to spray the same field more than once.

Our commitment to improving weed management practices
Driven by our passion for better weed management, we use our own farming experience to create a weed control solution that boosts productivity by:
Reducing labour inputs
Cutting chemical usage by up to 97%
Controlling herbicide-resistance weeds
Expanding usability of availability
Ensuring the job is done right the first time
Through continuous refinement and close collaboration with the growers, WeedMapper is the solution of choice for Australian broadacre agriculture.
